Modify selected parts

Type details for parts associated with BOMs that you either administer or own. In this way, you do not have to import a list just to account for minor changes.

Add an internal part to the AML as follows: using BOM Tree Parts window to display a BOM that uses an AML, select the AML part to add to and from the Modify menu, click Edit AML for IPN to launch the AML for Internal Part modal.

1. With the BOM with parts to modify displayed in either the BOM Tree or in the View Single BOM window, click the check box () in the left-most cell of the row that lists the part to modify.
2. Using the toolbar that appears in the toolbar above the results view, click Modify > Modify Part.
   This option is available when you are the owner or have User Administrator or Group Administrator permissions, where the BOM is not from an indentured list, and where only a single part is selected for modification.
