Change History
BOM Intelligence tracks changes made to BOMs after they are imported, so that the edits are easy to discern. Parts that are added, deleted, or changed cause BOM Intelligence to record the following details: Date/Time of event; User Name; Operation Type (Added, Edited, or Deleted); Internal and Imported Manufacturer (Mfr) Part Number, and Imported Manufacturer (Mfr) Name.
A Change indicator (
) appears in the BOM Vault and BOM Tree windows for BOMs that have changed since initially imported. Click the Change indicator to display the Change History tab.
View change history:
- Do either of the following:
- While viewing the BOM using the View Single BOM window, click the Change History tab.
- With the BOM displayed in either the BOM Vault or the BOM Tree view, click the Change History indicator ().
- Using the drop-down list in the toolbar that appears above the data grid, select whether to filter the data grid to show parts that were changed, added, or deleted after the BOM was imported.
- To output the list in text format, click Export.
